overnight river trips

We will transport you upriver to the Ten Mile River Access where you will begin your 25 mile journey. You will paddle through the Masthope, Colang, & Kunkeli Rapids.

Glide past the historic Zane Grey museum and pass under the Roebling Aqueduct. Continue downriver through Cedar Rapids and pass under the Shohola bridge and enter Shohola Rapids.

A few miles later you glide under the Pond Eddy Bridge, as you continue your trip you will splash through Staircase Rapids, Mongaup Rapids, & Butlers Rift before floating through the scenic Hawks Nest section of the river. Shoot through Mill Rift and under the #2 Bridge, just around the corner is Eddy Farm rapids and cliffs. Once you pass the cliffs you should make your way to the left side of the river, the take-out is on your left.

10 Mile to Port Jervis Overnight

10 miles

Our 10 mile trip can be done as a two-day overnight or three-day trip. We will shuttle you from our office in Port Jervis, to the 10 Mile River access, where you will begin your journey back to our location.

2 Day Itinerary:
Day 1 – Start at 10 Mile launch 19 miles, overnight at Buckhorn camp area,
Day 2 – 8 miles to Port Jervis landing

3 Day Itinerary:
Day 1 – Start at 10 Mile launch 9 miles, overnight at Yidel campground,
Day 2 – 10 miles overnight at Buckhorn,
Day 3 – 8 miles to Port Jervis landing

This trip offers Class 1 and Class 2 rapids and is great for people of all ages and experience levels- children and beginners included!

Barryville to Port Jervis Overnight

18 miles

We will transport you upriver to the Highland Access in Barryville, NY where you will begin your 15 mile journey. You will pass under 3 bridges and encounter many sets of rapids on your trip, float through the scenic Hawk's Nest section of the river.
