No, our trips are self-guided. After a trip orientation, you will be well-equipped to embark on your own self-guided adventure.
We offer trips every hour on the hour from 9am until 1pm on most days. The transportation up-river departs at the top of the hour, so please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. For example, if you are scheduled for 10am, please arrive around 9:45am.
We hold your space for transportation upriver based on your reservation time. If you are running late we will do our best to accommodate you on the next available bus or van. However you may have to wait if it is already full with the current reservations.
You need to be off the river by 6:30pm. If you are any later, a late charge of $20.00 per person per hour may apply.
You are responsible for paying for lost or damaged equipment up to the current replacement value.
Yes, we do require a 50% deposit in order to hold your reservation.
For tubing, the age minimum is 12 y/o. For rafting, canoeing, or kayaking the child must be 30 lbs or more to raft.
Comfortable footwear (we recommend water shoes, sandals with straps, or sneakers), sunscreen, plenty of water, snacks, and a trash bag.
Yes! Most coolers up to a standard chest size will fit in a raft. There is some room for a smaller cooler in canoes and kayaks, and for tubing if you have a waterproof or floating cooler which we can attach to your tube for you. You may also purchase a floating cooler at our office for $30.00.
No! Please bring everything you would like to bring with you on the day of your trip. We have a small merchandise section where we offer waterproof bags and boxes, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, water shoes, etc, but we do not have food or drink items for sale.
You cannot bring pets on your river trip, please leave pets at home! The NPS prohibits glass bottles/containers on the river, so please leave all glass at home.
No. We do not hold keys or other personal belongings, so please leave all items you do not want to bring on your trip at home or in your car.
No, the river is not a circle. You will begin your trip in Pond Eddy and float 9 miles down to Port Jervis.
We will transport you to the river from our office, where you will park your car, and then pick you up at the end and bring you back to our office.
Please be sure to pack a trash bag so that you can take all trash items that you bring with you off the river. Leave No Trace.
Yes. You and anything you bring with you on the river will get wet, so please leave any valuables or things you do not wish to get wet at home or in the car. Please do not bring your towel or change of clothes on the river. Please do not bring your keys on the river. Please do not bring your phone unless it is protected by a waterproof phone case on the river.
